Pastors David and Evangeline (Lynn) Alvarez married in 1985 and have five children: Kristine and her husband Christopher, David and his wife Heather, and Zaneta. David and Lynn are also proud grandparents of Brielle, Brylee, and two grandsons on their way.

HusbandPastor Dave II (Pd2) experienced a life-changing spiritual rebirth in March 1982 at Share God’s Love, a non-denominational church in the Philippines. After relocating to Brooklyn in 1989, he served as a Worship Leader at several churches while working in healthcare and senior enrichment. In 2000, he joined Evangel Ministries in Michigan as Worship Pastor under Pastor George Bogle, serving until 2005. On January 1, 2005, he and his family founded My Father’s House Church, with a focus on praise, worship, and community outreach. Pd2 later served with Project Compassion Ministries and retired from his healthcare career in December 2022. In 2023, he embraced full-time ministry and partnered with Allen Road Missionary Church to form First Love Community Church, which officially launched in 2024 to share God’s love through prayer, worship, service, and discipleship.

Lynn Alvarez

Wife of Pastor Dave, Lynn is mom to five children and the catalyst of how both are now serving God faithfully. All her children and grandchildren are all servant leaders actively serving the Lord in and out of church. She is the first teacher to Kristine, Zaneta, and David. All have grown to have their own personal relationship with Christ Jesus. You will find Lynn serving everywhere there is a need.
